Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a candidate for the US Senate, and a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would quit the show in the month of May 2021 in order to launch Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has also appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball has been engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball says that her political interest due to her experience as a new mother during the 2008 primary elections and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She witnessed how it affected the citizens of the country and developed an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was part of the Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district during the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
